Winter Cosiness

Well, it seems that winter is now truly upon us and the log burner here at Dairy House Antiques has been lit for a few days now!

We've been getting ready for winter with the dealers starting to bring cosiness into their units with blankets, cushions and everything you need to bring some winter cheer to your home.

We have some fantastic Welsh wool blankets.....

A super cosy area to come and have a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of delicious Honeybuns cake.

Or how about cosying up your kitchen with this gorgeous painted dresser with lovely ceramic handles.

We are open every day 10-5 and Sundays 11-4 so why not come along and see what we have to make your home winter ready!

Why Dairy House??

When you come to Dairy House Antiques have you ever wondered what the lovely building was built for?

Well the name and the lovely cool rooms may have given it away…but here are a few old photos of the Dairy House before the antiques & interiors took over.

In the 1870’s local milk was sent daily by train to London.

Eventually the original building evolved into the Dairy & Cheese room that is know Dairy House Antiques.

New season…new look

Dairy House is happy that this Autumn we have a new room set arriving.

Concentrating on the “Gentleman’s Club/Library” look, this dealer will stock antique oak furniture and will accessorise with leather and tartans and complimentary decorative items.

We will keep you updated on the arrival of these fantastic items.

Meanwhile, keep reading as we also have another new dealer arriving in the new season, the “Weekend Bohemian”, who promises dark, decadent, faded and sumptuous interiors with a twist!

Today we had our first official "Ladies taking coffee", having enjoyed a wander through

the Dairy House they decided to chat over a drink.

They appear to have enjoyed their visit.

Thank you Ladies, we hope to see you again soon, and when you visit again we will be able to tempt you with lovely cakes, buns & cookies supplied to us from locally based Honeybuns.
